Universal Jurisdiction – the Crime of Antisemitism

The State of Israel, the only contemporary Jewish state among the community of sovereign nations needs to make a bold move to counter the most prominent manifestations of antisemitism around the world. A permanent independent tribunal needs to be set up in Israel to prosecute the crime of antisemitism with universal jurisdiction under Israeli law. The purpose would be to prosecute the most prominent offenders around the world, including e.g. ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan. Capital punishment should be the only punishment to be meted out by this tribunal. Those prosecuted would be either extradited to Israel or kidnapped abroad by the Mossad and brought to Israel. The government of Israel would have no authority to delay trials or executions. This legal safeguard is vital to prevent foreign governments from pressuring Israel to not prosecute or execute offenders. This would create a highly effective deterrence among political leaders, celebrities, influencers and other prominent persons not to engage in public vitriol against the Jewish people. The tribunal would prosecute and execute thousands of offenders from all around the world every year.
