The issue of discrimination is usually addressed through an inevitably incomplete list of vertical analytical categories of oppression; race, gender, disability, sexuality etc. E.g. is sexuality typically narrowly interpreted to mean only sexualities pertaining to gender preferences and not other sexualities. Discriminating unsightly people is always left off the list and legal, as is discriminating people for their political opinions or discriminating against legal minors or animals. Therefore there is need for a constitutional prohibition against discrimination generally irrespective of category or reason.
