Science often fails due to the phenomenon of paradigm. Something does not fit in and so you ignore it. Scientists who point out something that does not fit into the paradigm are at best ignored, but may be vilified and ostracized. This is a gargantuan problem because important finds are systematically ignored and not studied due to paradigm. Scholars should instead be taught and trained to transcend paradigms. Rather than maintaining epistemological discipline to keep fellow scholars within the paradigm should scientists be encouraged to venture outside of the reigning paradigm of the day. There is need for an international Institute for Transparadigmatic Studies that would not only encourage training of scholars towards transcending scientific paradigm but would conduct rigorous research projects on subjects that have been suppressed by the guardians of the paradigm of the day.
