It’s Always Too Many Enemy Civilian Casualties in Gaza

Israel always faces the same criticism from Western allies whenever there is an armed conflict with Hamas and/or PIJ in Gaza. ‘Too many enemy civilians die’ despite the average mortality rate per air strike in the current conflict being less than 1,0. And when the enemy civilian casualties are few that is the subject of condemnation as well. Israel needs to realize that the number of enemy civilian casualties does not matter to generally friendly Western governmental critics. Any number of enemy civilian casualties is condemned and the fewer the harsher the condemnation. It is clear that this ”criticism” as articulated is irrational and cannot be appeased.
