Is Doha really an ally of Washington? The grim answer is that Qatar behaves like an enemy of the United States of America. Qatar is a geopolitically peculiar country which houses the largest US airbase in CENTCOM and this makes the US highly dependent on Qatar to the degree that the US in the case of Qatar dares not put America first.
- Qatar has for years funded the Anti-American (”anti-imperialist”) and antisemitic (”Anti-Zionist”) poisoning of American elite universities with many billions of dollars over the years.
- Qatar funds the gargantuan Islamist Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and worldwide.
- Qatar funds Jihadist terrorism worldwide.
Yet Doha gets away with it all and the US dares not publicly criticize Qatar. This undesignated major state sponsor of terrorism worldwide may be the only country in the world which President Trump genuinely fears.
It seems somewhat bizarre that the US, the world’s sole superpower with a population of over 300 million citizens fears a country with less than half a million citizens, yet this is the strange reality. Qatar is a real threat to the world and the US can no longer allow itself to be blackmailed by this oil-rich major state sponsor of terrorism. The Trump administration would be particularly well-advised to put America first and relocate its airbase to another Gulf state unless Qatar agrees to completely cease its nefarious activities in the US and around the world. These malevolent activities all harm American interests whether taking place at home in America or abroad.
