How will relations be between veteran Israelis and the new Israeli citizens beyond the former green line after Israel annexes the entire Judea and Samaria? While it is true that most Palestinians in Judea and Samaria currently want to see Israel destroyed and want to see Israeli Jews deported from Israel, it is also true that Israeli Palestinians actually lived under Israeli military rule until 1966. Although Israeli Palestinians vote for Anti-Zionist political parties as matter of identity politics are most paradoxically content with living in the Zionist state which is understandable considering much less attractive economic and political conditions in neighboring jurisdictions in the Middle East. Most Israeli Palestinians have Jewish friends and speak, read and write fluent Hebrew. Will this someday also be the situation in Judea and Samaria as well? Certainly so with new generations.
