Iran’s Academic Army

Iran has invested heavily in recruiting, training and nurturing academic agents of influence in Western nations. This is a formidable force devoted to downplaying the Iranian threat, falsely claiming that so-called ”reformist” Islamists have real influence and generally acting apologists for the Iranian regime. It is vital that Western decision makers are made aware that this insidious force is not made up of independent thinkers but agents of influence whose task is to undermine the good judgement of Western decision makers. Western intelligence services need to alert Western decision makers as to this threat to the integrity of proper decision making processes and the respective national interest.
