The Red Line

The coalition is at liberty to pass any legislation it wants and the Supreme Court may nullify it. However, if the government chooses to disobey the Supreme Court, then it crosses a definitive red line. This makes the government vulnerable to a military coup d’état as ordered by Israel’s Deep State. Make no mistake, what is the point of passing illegitimate legislation that certainly will be overruled by the Supreme Court? If you have a compromise in mind that is legitimate, then pass it and there will be no constitutional crisis. One thing is certain, there will be no civil war in Israel as this will be prevented.
