Saudi Arabia Needs to Rethink its Rhetoric vis-a-vis Israel

MBS needs to seriously reconsider official Saudi rhetoric towards Israel if he wants to gain support in Congress, including a two-thirds majority for a USA-KSA defense treaty in the US Senate. The US Congress is not merely pro-Israel, creating doubt about the Saudi-American-Israeli triangular relationship is myopic to say the least. It is quite understandable that MBS like all top national leaders in the Arab world has to pander to the so-called Arab street so as not to be unseated, however he has to consider that Anti-Israel rhetoric is counterproductive in Congress. Accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza passes the line into enemy rhetoric and is therefore extremely counterproductive to Saudi interests in the United States.
