The Iranian Deception

The Iranian regime is playing a double game of holding two contradictory positions; one official double bluff where they appear to be lying but is actually faithfully representing the regime’s position and one bluff where they appear to tell the truth in covert talks with the Americans but actually are lying. The objective is to deceive the Americans into stopping the war without achievement of its political objectives.
