Israel’s Deep State was founded by Prime Minister Menachem Begin in 1977. It was tasked with protecting Israel’s Jewish and democratic character through domestic, covert political action as well as with century-scale longterm national planning. With time it became increasingly involved in Israeli parliamentary politics in splitting/merging factions at will and even bringing down governments, planning and implementing the settlement project, the judicial revolution, the Oslo process, the Gaza Disengagement and now organizing the vigilante settlement youth. Most members of the Knesset and senior officers and senior officials are generally all recruited by the Israeli Deep State and takes direct orders from it and therefore cannot do anything to stop the vigilantes. The Israeli Deep State is part of the Shin Bet domestic security agency but is autonomous. Its members are national religious former military officers; politically pragmatic and religiously moderate. It plans to establish a Palestinian state in Arab parts of Judea and Samaria while continuing to de facto and eventually de jure annex restored indigenous areas of Judea and Samaria while later offering the internationally recognized Palestinian state the three Arab regions of Israel as territorial compensation.
The Palestinian movement’s strategy has always been and remains attaining a Second Holocaust, something that Israel’s Deep State is keenly aware of. The BDS movement which has universal support in Palestinian society seeks to bring down Israel economically in order to finally defeat it militarily and implement a one-state genocide against 8 million Israeli Jews. In 1947-49 Israel pursued policies that led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians because the Jewish community was threatened with genocide.
As the anti-Israel global psychosis spreads around the world, the question arises, will Israel once more be threatened with genocide as in 1948 and 1967? If that were to happen no one should entertain any doubts whatsoever that the Israeli Deep State will move to expel the Palestinians altogether from Judea, Samaria and Gaza and thus once and for all resolve the demographic problem. Now, would this be morally justified? Yes if Israeli Jewry was once more threatened with genocide but certainly not otherwise. Europeans and others should recognize that the hundreds of criminal vigilantes as organized by the Israeli Deep State may metamorphose into something the world cannot control if hostility against Israel and the Jewish people continues to globalize and metastasize.
