The Iranian nuclear weapons program is an existential threat against the Jewish state; the Khomeinist regime constantly and publicly repeats its official desire to “annihilate Israel”. There is less than one month left until Iran has enough nuclear material for one nuclear bomb and there is no doubt that the clock is ticking and that Israel will act timely to strategically degrade the Iranian nuclear weapons program. There is also however no doubt that the Khomeinist regime will order its Hezbollah proxy to rain down tens of thousands of missiles on Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities.
Will the Islamist Ra’am party leave the Israeli government over the war and bring down the government? There is no doubt that they will stay or they will lose most of the achievements that they negotiated for the Arab community when the government was formed earlier this year. Will the war spread to Gaza? This seems unlikely since Hamas is partly deterred but it might still happen. Nevertheless will the Ra’am party remain in government under all military scenarios whatever they may say at present. There would simply be no point for them to quit the government and lose most gains for the Arab community. They know full well that quitting the government will not in the slightest influence the course of the war since the Israeli government will remain in power until the next elections three months later.
