Israel will need to modify its controversial “Basic Law: Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People” since Israel’s legislators apparently did not anticipate the existence of Median Jewry and even less so mass Aliyah of tens of millions of Median Jews. The name of the quasi-constitutional basic law will need to be changed to “Basic Law: Israel as the Nation State of the Nation of Israel” to reflect the existence of multiple Jewish peoples of the wider Jewish nation as Median Jewry consists of many Jewish peoples indeed, including Beta Israel, the Ethiopian Jews who along with the Bnei Menashe from northeast India are the only Median Jewish peoples living in Israel.
