Climate Crisis will be Resolved by the Private Sector

The recent failed climate summit in Glasgow illustrates that politicians will not resolve the climate crisis. Rather, renewable energy will outcompete fossil energy sources. The car industry will replace gasoline cars with electric cars. The Glasgow summit served animal-based food as if they were ignorant that the animal industry must be phased out to save the planet. Instead the alternative protein industry will outcompete the animal industry, including through industrially grown meat, dairy, egg, fish and honey. Commuting to work will be replaced by virtual reality which means offices and schools will be shut down and energy consumption will be minimized this way. Petrol-based plastic items will be replaced by plant-based plastic items. All these processes are already underway and the above are just examples of the changes that will be spurred by the private sector. The private sector will crucially lead the fight against climate change through groundbreaking innovation in climate tech. The political leaders have zero credibility when it comes to fighting climate change but luckily the private sector is already far advanced and will be even more advanced in the future. The goals set for target dates have little credibility since the politicians are largely unwilling to force any changes on the private sector which luckily is far ahead of the politicians.
