I have suggested a global strategy for democracy, for both defending democracies from internal/external threats and spreading this ethically supreme form of government to yet other countries. Whether one agrees or not with my proposals, what is indisputable is that there is an urgent need for a global strategy for the shrinking global community of liberal democracies. We can not just passively witness democracy after democracy decaying without taking action. The case of the proposed judicial reforms in Israel illustrates the need for international legal rules for liberal democracy everywhere. There certainly needs to be an international charter of liberal democracy and a new international court adjudicating its adherence.
