Israel’s upcoming two-front war offers a crucial test of moral clarity. Will the war defeat and disband the terrorist organizations and the entire so-called “Axis of Resistance” in the Levant? It is not possible to disband Hezbollah without doing away with the current regimes in Damascus and Beirut which are both supporters and promoters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The Israeli alliance with the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) of the AANES (Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria) is crucial in this regard. Will the rocket/missile threat be strategically disbanded in both the northern military theater and the southern military theater? This is a crucial test of victory.
It is essential that Israel wakes up from the strategic lethargy of past decades with regard to these lethal terrorist organizations and adopts a radical policy of total elimination down to the last terrorist. Past policies of “containing” and “deterring” Hamas and Hezbollah are wholly insufficient to put things mildly.
