American Jewry is rapidly disappearing as the new generation is alienated from the Jewish people and Judaism and the intermarriage rate is staggering. It is clear that the only future for non-Orthodox Rabbinic Judaism is in Israel as it will disappear in the Diaspora. The only ones who will remain are the Orthodox Jews, both Modern Orthodox Jews and Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) Jews. The non-Orthodox denominations should refocus their activities and become Aliyah promotional organizations since Aliyah (immigration to Israel) is the only hope for survival for non-Orthodox American Jewry. Those who do not make Aliyah will disappear. The situation is similar in the rest of the Diaspora. Yet, one legacy of the disappearing American Jewry will remain and that is the enduring US-Israel special relationship which for decades has been promoted by American Jewish organizations by advocating for US interests in the Middle East.
