Israeli diplomats need to focus on the promotion of the interests of the Palestinians when explaining the need for Israeli redemption and enfranchisement of the entire Judea and Samaria and the subsequent Jordanian annexation of Gaza. While it is important to explain Israeli and Jordanian interests and how these are crucial to regional stability and security is it also essential for Israeli diplomats to argue from the perspective of Palestinian economic interests and Palestinian civil rights. In fact, Palestinians will benefit more from peace than anyone else in the region, yet Palestinians remain the most rejectionist demographic element in the Middle East in irrationally insisting on inundating Israel with millions of Anti-Zionists and thus rejecting peace.
Persuading the international community will certainly not be easy and talking to diplomats will not be sufficient since diplomats adhere to the official line of their own respective government. However, preparing the ground for peace by explaining how this peace will benefit Palestians is vital indeed.
