How will absorption of Median Jews fare in Israel? Israel is a world-leader in successful absorption of immigrants. Since the top poskim (leading rabbinical authorities) of every generation have always been aware of core Median Jewry and recognized them as fully Jewish is there no issue whatsoever with their religious recognition as Jews. Experience shows that Crypto-Jewish populations quickly reappropriate Jewish identity once they become aware of being Jewish and this is in fact already long since happening widely among Median Jews in the Middle East.
