The Mullahs are Desperate

The strategic plans of the ruling mullahs in Tehran are falling apart due to Hamas’ severe miscalculation. Hamas is a semi-proxy of Iran and although it consults with and receives substantial aid from Tehran, it is not a full proxy like PIJ or Hezbollah. This was on full display during the October 7, 2023 pogrom. Not only did Hamas not consult with Iran but the armed wing did not even consult Hamas’ own political leadership. Hamas’ strategic purpose in Iran’s Plan B was to tie up Israeli forces in a Gaza conflict and distract them from pursuing the Northern War after Israel and America neutralized the Iranian nuclear weapons program. Iran’s Plan A was the assumption that nobody would dare neutralize the Iranian nuclear weapons program and so the mullahs believed that Israel and America were bluffing and would not prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons. Israel’s and America’s reactions to the October 7 pogrom created a rude awakening for Iran’s leaders. The mullahs are desperately trying to intimidate both Israel and the United States through proxy attacks. The mullahs are facing reality, they no longer believe in neither Plan A nor Plan B. So the question is what is Plan C, is there even a Plan C? Could it be a regional war now? If Iran wanted a regional war now, they would launch one rather than desperately trying to deter Israel and America regarding Gaza. The reality is that Iran is about to lose its Gaza asset and will face both Israel and US air power in a future Northern War. They are coming to the realization that President Biden is far from being a weak person. Why did Hamas launch the October 7 attack? Because of the Hamas misconception after the 11-day May 2021 Gaza conflict (which President Biden forced Prime Minister Netanyahu to end prematurely) that President Biden was ”weak” and therefore would not allow Israel to topple Hamas. President Biden is a good-hearted person who was trying to do the right thing back in 2021 and is now doing everything right in protecting US homeland security from the Iranian threat of biological mass terrorism.
