President Trump has made a life career in business from being the smartest person in the room, however this does not work when confronted with people who are even smarter. This is what happened to the Iranian file. The American negotiators are showing weakness by not understanding that the Iranian regime will outsmart any international inspectors. Furthermore, dropping the Iran sanctions is a really bad idea as this would repeat the Biden administration’s mistake of showering the Iranian regime with hundreds of billions of oil dollars that will be used for undermining American interests in the Middle East and around the world, including in Latin America.
The right, wise and smart policy is the one that maximizes American interests and minimizes the interests of the mullahs rather than striking a balance between the two. This requires bringing Iran to its knees through Trumpian diplomatic shock and awe and if this does not work destroying Iran’s nuclear program, oil industry and strategic infrastructure such as seaports and airports. President Trump knows how to be mean on occasion and what is needed is Trumpian rapid dominance that will shake the mullah regime to its foundations while ruthlessly promoting, indeed maximizing American interests entirely at the expense of the interests of the mullahs. This is the time to demand strategic capitulation without quid pro quo or else performing strategic decapitation. Iran’s nuclear program must be entirely dismantled on the Libyan model or else turning Iran into Libya. All support for terrorism must end or else. The missile program must also be dismantled as it threatens both American servicemen and America’s allies in the region. The threat must end now or else a comprehensive threat must be posed that threatens the very survival of the mullah regime. Bad guys need to be treated in a really bad way rather than the Very Smart President being outsmarted by those who are actually even smarter.
