Alevis in Turkey are fed up with Mr. Erdogan’s Crypto-Islamist dictatorship and want to leave the country, yet currently have nowhere to go. The vast majority of Median Jews in Turkey are Alevis. Will quiet Western economic diplomatic pressure succeed in convincing Mr. Erdogan not to place obstacles in the way of Alevi Aliyah (immigration) to Israel? Or will Israel wait in officially declaring Alevis and other Median Jews Jewish until after the June 2023 Turkish parliamentary and presidential elections which the unpopular Mr. Erdogan and his ruling AK party are expected to lose? Will Israel indeed delay the anticipated air strikes against the Iranian nuclear weapons program until after the Turkish elections? Will 2023 become the major year for core Median Jewry (Alawites, Alevis, Alians, Bektashis, Druze, Yarsanis and Yezidis)? This would also delay until after June 2023 elections Hezbollah’s expected rocket/missile barrage against urban Israel and the subsequent unavoidable joint IDF-SDF war of liberation in Syria and Lebanon that would lead to the establishment of an Aramean Christian state (Aram), Israel’s annexation of Median Jewish (Alawite and Druze) regions of Syria and Lebanon and the annexation of the remainder of Lebanon by an AANES-led Syria.
