The SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) has over the years expanded from originally constituting mere Kurdish guerillas to becoming an increasingly formidable military force and the AANES (Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria) has in recent years imposed the military draft on the male population of eligible age in NES (North and East Syria). As Israel plans to destroy Hezbollah, establish an Aramean Christian state (Aram), annex Median Jewish (Alawite and Druze) regions of Syria and Lebanon and subsequently hand over most of Syria and the remainder of Lebanon to the SDF, needs the SDF expand its forces and impose the draft on females of eligible age in NES. While this may be controversial with the local population of NES, it is no doubt necessary, in particular in consideration of the need to fight an Hezbollah insurgency after the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) handover of control as the IDF will not remain on the ground. The AANES would be particularly well-advised to make a speedy decision and implement the female draft. Furthermore, this will be beneficial for gender equality in society by making young women more independent and by extension helping women become more active participants in society and economy.
