The US Must Contain Turkey

Turkey poses a very real military threat against Israel and Israel will obviously defend itself and its red lines in the air, on land and at sea. Washington needs to do its utmost to prevent Turkey from threatening Israel and it must do so out of sheer self-interest. It is not consistent with American interests that Turkey destabilizes the region in a quest to destroy America’s Israeli ally. America must move ferociously to contain Turkey so that Israel won’t have to do it in its stead. Make no mistake, Turkey’s anti-Israel ambitions threatens American interests in the region and America must use its clout to roll back the Turkish juggernaut.
