Why the KRG should have an Air Force

The KRG is a loyal and faithful ally of the United States and deserves more US support. The KRG is often described by its detractors as “a second Israel” due to its pro-American and pro-Israel sympathies and alignments. In fact could and would an independent Kurdistan in the Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian sections of Kurdistan become a pro-American strategic platform, indeed a second Israel. The United States would be particularly well-advised to invest in the KRG as a nucleus to an independent Kurdistan, including especially by selling fighter aircrafts to the KRG. The KRG needs a modern military and has the oil money to pay for it, something that will generate many,many jobs in America. Arming the KRG will crucially strengthen the Dönmeh-led Derin Devlet by weakening the AKP regime in the region. Arming the KRG, and especially equipping it with an air force will strengthen America’s hand against Khomeinist Iran as well as reinforce Israeli interests in the region which is also an American interest. America should always stand with its friends and allies.
