In light of the new Russo-Iranian Molotov-Ribbentrop pact whereby Russia gets Europe and Iran gets the Arab world, it is necessary for threatened nations to reevaluate their relations with Iran. Saudi-Israeli peace and normalization can happen any day of the week once Washington and Riyadh agree on the terms and then the next step is a MENA defense alliance that will grow as more Arab nations normalize relations with Israel. Currently, there is tremendous fear of Iran in Arab governments and Israel is greatly admired for its sabotage operations inside Iran. Yet, once a MENA defense alliance is in place should members muster the courage to impose a total trade embargo on Iran. Similarly must the EU internalize that Iran is an enemy country threatening energy supply to the union and so EU nations must also impose a comprehensive trade embargo on Iran. Finally must the United States understand that Iran will remain an enemy country as long as the mullahs remain in power and hence must maximum pressure urgently be restored and all loopholes removed.
