Iran assumes that no one will dare neutralize the Iranian nuclear weapons program, but they have a backup response plan for that event which involves destroying Israel. This future conflict is known in Israel as the Northern War. A chain of events will lead to a full-scale war between the Israeli and Iranian armies in Syria, a major war indeed. 1) Israel (quite possibly together with the US) will neutralize the Iranian nuclear weapons program. 2) Hezbollah will engage in daily frontal assaults against Israel. 3) Israel will invade Lebanon and Syria in order to neutralize Hezbollah. 4) The Iranian army will cross Iraqi territory in order to reach Syria. 5) Israel will defeat the Iranian army and its allies. 6) Israel will install the PYD as the new government in Damascus and will establish an Aramean Christian state in parts of Lebanon with its capital in East Beirut. 7 New agreed international borders will be established; the Golan and Median Jewish (Alawite and Druze) regions will be ceded to Israel. East Beirut will cede the rest of Lebanon to Syria.
Iran however assumes that the war will turn out quite differently and end with the annihilation of Israel. From Iran’s perspective is control over what they term ”Palestine” not only a precondition for the reappearance of the Hidden Imam but will provide the Iranian military with a strategic location in the Middle of the MENA region that will provide highly useful during WWIII when Iran and Russia in a synchronized fashion invade the Arab world and Europe respectively. This war will undoubtedly also involve ”the death of America” namely Iranian-dispatched terrorists attacking major American cities with biological weapons.
The question is therefore what can be done to prevent this threat against the American homeland? 1) Dealing a decisive deterrent blow to Iran by significantly contribute to Israel’s strategic victory in the Northern War by deploying the US Air Force to bomb the sh*t out of the Iranian military and their allies in Syria. It is furthermore a US interest to substantially shorten the war and USAF participation can do precisely that. 2) The US can build the groundwork for a MENA defense alliance with US membership and make this the basis for Saudi-Israeli peace along with satisfying some additional Saudi demands from the US without giving the KSA the ability to build nuclear weapons.
